Departure: Tirana
Destination: Mount Korab (2,764 m) – the highest peak in Albania and North Macedonia.
06:00 AM – Departure from Tirana by minivan or 4×4 vehicle towards Radomirë, a mountain village in the Dibër region.
Route: Tirana – Kukës – Radomirë
Along the drive, we’ll take a short break by Lake Kukës (approx. 30 minutes).
The total drive takes around 4 hours, with arrival in Radomirë at approximately 11:00 AM.
Upon arrival in Radomirë, we begin the hike toward the Black Lake, surrounded by pine trees, where we will set up our campsite 🏕.
Free time to rest and explore the area around the lake, located on the western slope of the majestic Mount Korab.
Dinner will be prepared over an open fire, with traditional drinks like raki and conversations about survival in the wild.
Day 2: Hike to the Summit of Mount Korab
06:00 AM – Wake-up and preparation for the ascent
Departure from the campsite (1,300 m) heading toward the summit of Korab (2,764 m)
Distance: Approximately 18–20 km round trip
Duration: 8–10 hours total (depending on the group’s pace)
Trail: Through alpine meadows, cold springs, and terrains with stunning views
Summit: Offers panoramic views covering both Albania and North Macedonia
Return: In the afternoon around 17:00, back to Radomirë village where our vehicles are parked
Return to Tirana: Around 21:00
